All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go...

My bus ticket is purchased, leaving Toronto at 12:30pm tomorrow and arriving in Ann Arbor at 7:05pm. Apparently the return portion is good for a year, but I only packed enough clothes to last until Monday (and I have to pay my rent on Tuesday anyway).

US cash has been procured.

My suitcase and backpack are packed, except for the toiletries I will need in the morning. I've even packed extra batteries for the Discman (yes, I know, I'm hopelessly out of date) so that I can listen to music on the bus.

Is it wrong for me to be nervous about this trip? I mean, I'm sure it will go swimmingly. But that doesn't help.

In other news, I joined aprilsnark, chanilye, scapersuse and garuto at the Granite this evening for dinner with David, an Australian friend of aprilsnark's. It was quite an enjoyable evening. Note to self: do not try to pick a kiwi-filled chocolate out of the box with only my fingernails. I'm not that dextrous.

Now, I just hope I manage to get to sleep at a decent hour so that I can make it to the bus terminal in plenty of time.

Edited to add: all you people who are talking about Lance Bass coming out of the closet, could you please use his last name? I'm getting confused seeing posts about "Lance came out of the closet!!!" Dang it, I came out 20 years ago... :P

Did you ever see that KITH skit in which Scott walks out of his house, dressed "gayer than Lance," and Dave rides by on his bike and shouts, "Fag!" So Scott goes back in and gays it down a bit, and gives it another try. Dave rides by again and shouts, "Fag!" So Scott gives it another try, and comes out dressed like a construction worker. Dave rides by and shouts, "Fag!" Finally, Scott comes out dressed in a bear suit, and mauls Dave as he rides by again!
