I managed to get through all of my email and all of my usual fora by about 12:30, and have run out of things to do. I have some unread emails I could deal with, but most of them involve input from other people before I can move forward on them. I could have gone out - I thought I was supposed to be going out with
cuteteenboy for a drink, but he apparently didn't remember that we had discussed going out tonight, and went to a movie with his boyfriend and another friend instead. (Which is okay, because it's apparently about 2C out there right now. Brrrrr.) I could have gone out anyway, but it's more fun to go out with someone than to go out alone. I guess I could have called up a certain someone whom I like and suggested karaoke... I'm sure he would have gone for it. But then there's that whole 2C thing again, and waiting for the bus afterwards, and the knowledge that he doesn't think of me "that way"... plus it's been drizzling on and off all day. Ick. Better to stay in where I'm warm, dry and not rejected.
So what do I do? I decide to go and find the one dating website on which I ever had any success meeting guys... and it's gone. Site not found. Doesn't turn up in Google, either.
I think it's a sign.
Maybe I'll log onto TrekBBS and start a few random threads in Miscellaneous. (Or maybe not, since I've only ever started two threads in my three years or whatever that I've been there.)

Date: 2005-05-01 09:38 pm (UTC)I watched a couple last night and a couple more tonight, including the episode "Dead Run", starring Steve Railsback, Barry Corbin, John de Lancie and Brent Spiner. Skipped over "Profile In Silver" (Lane Smith, Andrew J. Robinson and Jerry Hardin) and "Button, Button" (Mare Winningham) because I'd skipped ahead and watched them a few weeks ago, then watched "Need To Know" (Frances McDormand, William Petersen) and "Red Snow" tonight. I may skip ahead again and watch "The Last Defender Of Camelot" (Richard Kiley, Anthony LaPaglia, Norman Lloyd and John Cameron Mitchell) before I go to bed tonight. I'd forgotten just how many big stars were on the show, either when or, in some case, before they became stars.
