I didn't post about this earlier, because I was hoping that my brain could make some sense of it, but no sense is coming.
james_nicoll reported this morning that Michael Vasiliou passed away, likely on Thursday morning. I wasn't all that close to Michael - in fact, I hadn't seen him or spoken to him in about 13 years - but he was someone I knew and liked from the Waterloo theatre community. We'd worked together on a few FASS shows, and if memory serves, and if memory serves, a couple of non-FASS shows as well.
I was going to say something about my own feelings of mortality, but it just came across as too self-centred, which wasn't my intention at all. Let's just say that 40 is far too young to die, dammit.
Rest in peace, Michael.
