I have CTV on at the moment (I was watching Desperate Housewives earlier, and didn't bother changing the channel) and the sports segment of the 11pm news is currently on. Something just caught my ear and I had to head over to the PGA website to confirm. Now, I don't follow golf at all - I've never played the game, unless you count mini-golf - but every so often I check to see how Rory Sabbatini is doing, as I met him when he was my seatmate on a flight a few years ago. I forget where I was going - the 2000 or 2002 Worldcon, probably.
Anyway, it seems he finished tied with Tiger Woods for second place in the Masters this weekend in Augusta, GA.
Good for him. Though how sad is that, that I pay attention to this one golfer's career, because I met him once several years ago?
