Feeling a bit better...
Mar. 31st, 2007 10:33 pmI'm sure the two Excedrins I took helped, as did the nap and forcing myself to eat dinner. I almost feel human again. Though I had some strange almost-dreams while I was napping, involving the last section of my VB assignment that I still have to complete. I say "almost-dreams" because I'm not sure if I was really asleep, or if I was just thinking about the assignment before falling asleep. I know that some of it made it into a dream, because I recall testing the code and finding that it worked, when in actuality I haven't written a single line of code today.
I'm ashamed to admit that I slept through most of the second period of the Leafs game. When I laid down, Jocelyn Thibault was in goal for Pittsburgh, and when I woke up, they were talking about Marc-Andre Fleury coming in to replace him after the fourth Leaf goal. (Dammit, that game should never have gone to overtime. Ponikarovsky made a stupid, stupid move - when there are less than ten seconds left in the game, you're in the offensive zone and the other team has pulled their goalie, I don't care if their entire team is bearing down on you or if you're trying to help a teammate set a franchise record for career goals - shoot the puck at the net.)
Oh, and I forgot to mention something in this afternoon's post which may amuse people: about two minutes into my conversation with Tom at Woody's last night, he suddenly said, "Has anyone ever told you that you look like the PC guy?" *facepalm*
