This definition of "adolescent" came up as I refreshed the tab and read various limericks at random:

When you move on from just adolescent
And advance to the stage of pubescent,
Don't find it surprising
If matters arising
Turn out to be largely tumescent.

I quite literally cracked up out loud over this one. Clever.


(Edited to add: CBC just aired a commercial for "The Christmas Invasion", airing December 26. Woohoo! *waits with bated breath*)

I have to admit, I haven't actually seen it, per se - just heard it, due to the layout of my living room. I think it was just a 15-second "bumper" type of thing, where they play the theme music and the announcer says "Doctor Who: The Christmas Invasion, coming to CBC on December 26."
