lance_sibleyI got a phone call from the manager at Manulife today... it seems that they decided to fill the position internally. Which I probably could have guessed from the fact that one of the qualifications listed was "familiarity with Apollo," which is their in-house U.S. Group Pensions system.
However, she gave me the phone number of someone in HR to harass, so that's something.

Oh, that cleaning and laundry I was going to do when I got home from First Thursday? HAH! I guess I'll have to do it tomorrow... *sigh* At least I took the newspapers out to the recycling dumpster.

Date: 2005-11-04 10:56 pm (UTC)I figure I'll keep an eye on their website and whenever something comes up that interests me, I'll call them then. They're already aware of my interest in returning, and having spoken to the manager recently, hopefully if something comes up soon she'll think of me. Plus they have my resume on file, and obviously since she had been made aware of my interest, HR isn't discounting me just because my leaving a year ago was on less than good terms.
