D'oh! I completely failed to consider that... I remembered that smittyd works for Future Shop, but in Kitchener.
Did you have a previous Palm model? I ask because I'm wondering if you had any problems using some of your older software on the newer model. A couple of my games don't want to work properly any more - SolFree has a few hiccups, Hardball throws an error, and both Giraffe and MahJongg just cause it to reboot. I'll probably end up trying to find upgraded versions, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.)
