Anyway the plan (so far) has been posted...
But I wanted to let you know that you can get passport forms at the post office (like the one in the Y&E mall), and skip your printer woes.
I wish I'd seen this before I went to all that trouble. The problem was, the timing was kind of tight - I had asked theengineer to sign the forms for me, and I was seeing him Thursday night. I had to run around to get my pictures done on my lunch break, and never had time to stop in at the post office. Argh. (But I'll remember that for next time.)
