Why am I still awake?
Oct. 31st, 2006 02:34 amOh, right. Young Frankenstein is on. That's why I'm still awake.
I went to bed around 2 last night, and was still awake at 5:30. Argh. But I managed to get up for 11:15, got ready and sclepped out to Mississauga for my interview at TD. I feel that it went very well, and the HR person I met with told me that she would let me know by Thursday if I'll be continuing on to the next step. Fortunately the position itself is downtown, in the TD Centre. *fingers crossed*
It turned out, though, that had I continued along Eglinton for one more stop I wouldn't have had to walk nearly as far; Mapquest wasn't quite accurate, and didn't indicate that the building I was going to actually backs right onto Eglinton - I walked about five to ten extra minutes and around a sweeping crescent for nothing. :(
I thought about going straight to class, especially since I had decided to save the $2.50 Mississauga Transit fare by walking back along Eglinton to the border between the TTC's and Mississauga Transit's fare zones. Yow, that's a long walk.
gurudata, you were right.
Anyway... I decided to come home and change first, which meant that I was very nearly late, but the instructor arrived about 90 seconds after I did. We covered more Javascript tonight, and I learned how to update an HTML input field in a form based on the returned value from the Javascript code. We also covered logical operators, though there was nothing really new there for me. One thing I did learn: don't use C# syntax on Javascript statements. It doesn't work. (Oops.)
I really ought to go to bed now, but I'm not tired. Oy.
