So I managed to organize a trip to the bank today to do some Gaylaxicon business, only to find out once we arrived that the people in charge of business accounts had all left for the day.
dx4 had taken off early from work and driven in from Dundas, and I had spent an hour on the subway, all for nought. It seems they want people to make appointments to do their banking now.
I didn't get home until 9 or so (having stopped at Bakka for a bit, and then for some groceries), and because of various things didn't get to have dinner until 11. While I was eating I popped in the DVD of "True Lies," a film I've always enjoyed, and even when I finished dinner I didn't shut it off as I often do, but instead sat and watched the entire movie.
It's been a slow day for email, though, so I don't feel too guilty. I managed to sort out a problem I'd been having with the prototype of the Gaylactic Network website that I'm working on with
thespian (this isn't likely to be used, but I wanted to figure out how to use stylesheets correctly, so I was messing about on my own).
dx4 sent me some useful examples, and
cuteteenboy gave me some tips.
thespian and I have also exchanged some emails about the Gaylactic Toronto Alliance and Gaylaxicon's participation in this year's Pride parade. It should be fun.
I really should get to bed, as I have the Torcon AGM tomorrow at 1 and a TT meeting on Sunday. And I am sleepy, probably due to all of the running around in the heat.
But we all know I'm really going to read my friendslist and TrekBBS and then not get to bed until 5, right? Right...
