It seems I slept through the phone ringing this morning when the UPS guy called from the lobby with that video I'm supposed to watch. He said he'd be back between 1 and 3; 2:25 now, and nothing yet. I despise how we're supposed to rearrange our lives to suit delivery people - especially since this is something I never asked to receive in the first place.

Disturbing dream last night about Toronto Trek - I dreamed that I was at the con, and nothing was going right. The pocket programs hadn't even been printed, people had no idea where they were supposed to be or what they were supposed to be doing... I can only imagine what kind of dreams [livejournal.com profile] gurudata and his esteemed co-Chair have.

[livejournal.com profile] ulva gave me this link to Enterprise Oddities last night - there's some good stuff up there. And some wicked stuff. For instance, Reed/Hayes comics... ;) I may end up using some of the avatars on that site (they're advertised as free for the taking).

Damn, where's that UPS guy? 2:30 now, and I need to go out...

The tape finally arrived about 15 minutes ago, which is an interesting definition of "between 1 and 3". I'm glad I didn't wait around past 3:45 and went out before the snow started coming down; right now, it's blowing so hard out there it looks like somebody's upended a box of laundry detergent over my neighbourhood.

The show seems to be a 30-minute sitcom called "Dads". I shudder to think how bad this is going to be.

According to the sheet that came with it, there are supposed to be green and yellow prize booklets as well, but there were none in the envelope. I'll have to mention that when they call me tomorrow night to ask me what I thought of the show.

Interestingly, according to the tape, it erases as it plays, so I'm not supposed to rewind or fast-forward it. I've never heard of that before.

I guess I'll watch it while I eat dinner. It's fortunate that this is Easter week, which means I have no bowling tonight and therefore I have the time.

Well, there was 26 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

Though I have to say, Rue McClanahan was funny. Then again, Rue McClanahan is always funny.
