... Rick Berman keeps on burnin'.
Trekkin',
Trekkin',
Trekkin' to Vancouver...

Principal shooting on the final episode of Star Trek: Enterprise has been completed. Which means that Trekspy, our long-serving Paramount mole, is being stood down. But before riding off into the sunset, he chatted with SFX one last time. No, he hasn't managed to grab any souvenirs from the show.

"Nothing's too small," he says. "They've actually brought in cameras to watch everything. Set pieces and props are being saved, at least for now. There's a rumor that things might go up to Vancouver."

Trekkie Nerd
Congratulations! You scored 92%!

Congratulations - your designation as a Trekkie Nerd means that you are
statistically more likely to be a virgin, socially inept, live at home
in your mother's basement and have no chance of scoring a chick like
Seven. Still, if knowledge of temporal paradoxes, the repercussions of
the Janeway effect and an intimate knowledge of Klingon history made
big bucks, you'd be a millionaire. Ah, tis the sweet irony of life.

My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender:
You scored higher than 99% on Trekkies

I object to some of the questions in this quiz:

6. Have you ever gone to a Star Trek/sci-fi convention?
  • Yes and it was in costume

  • Yes, but not in costume

  • No, but I want to

  • No and I never want to

What, no answer for "Yes, and I'm the Co-Head of Programming, Communications Department flunky, KAG Liaison, Exec Without Portfolio and Chair Trainee, plus I host the two Queer Continuum room parties every year"?

(And yes, [livejournal.com profile] dblaser_ca, I know you object to my using the term "Communications Department flunky"... but I need a proper job title besides "assistant Web developer, guy who co-ordinates getting answers that members submit via the message board and 'Get With The Program' forum moderator"...

7. Do you own any Star Trek memorabilia?
  • Yes and I wear my uniform everyday

  • No, but I pine for my very own batleth

  • No, memorabilia is for tragic geeks

Um... yes, but I only wear my uniform(s) at Hallowe'en. I do, however, own a Cabbage Patch Vulcan...

9. Have you ever written any Star Trek episodes or a story involving Star Trek characters (including those with gay romantic storylines involving Kirk & Spock - don't laugh, people actually write that stuff)?

Does it count if the Voyager script ("Full Circle", in which Voyager finds a wormhole that takes them back to the Alpha Quadrant, but twelve hours before they actually left in the first place) was rejected?
