Ouch.

All of a sudden, my left shoulder is killing me. Great - I have to leave for bowling in about 20 minutes.

I got yet another call from Rogers Wireless a little while ago. This is the third day in a row they've called. On Monday, they called while I was in the middle of dinner and when I told the caller so, they said, "When can we call back?" I was tempted to say "Never," but you never know - they might be calling to offer me something that could actually be useful. (Not likely, but you never know.) So I said "later in the week", and the guy said "How about Friday?" I said Friday would be fine. What is it with these people that they don't understand what "Friday" means, and so they call me Tuesday and Wednesday? If it turns out to be the same offer they called about a few weeks ago which I declined, I'll expand that to say "What is it about these people, that they don't understand the word 'no'?"

This is part of the aggravation that led me to embarrass myself somewhat yesterday, when the caller turned out to be someone else. Mind you, I'm still amused by that whole storm window/bidet thing...

Apparently I amuse easily, though. Hence this, gakked from pretty much everyone (though I first saw it on [livejournal.com profile] esprix's LJ:

You Are 21 Years Old

21

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

I had another call a few minutes ago from someone doing a travel survey. She seemed to find it unusual that on a scale of 1 to 10, I consider my vacations an 8 in importance. (Actually, it's probably even higher than that.) As much as I want to be working, this world has too many workaholics in it, whose sole purpose in life is to work. My philosophy has always been that I work to live... I don't live to work.
