Home now...
I just got in the door a few minutes ago, and I am exhausted. And starving. I'm going to make myself some soup (I'm not feeling ambitious enough for pasta and I didn't take the time to stop at Metro for something microwaveable, so soup will have to do) and go to bed.
*yawn*
Edited to add: I was just unpacking my suitcase while waiting for water to boil, and discovered a card from the TSA indicating that they'd opened and inspected my suitcase. What is it with me and travelling, anyway? I think this is the fourth time in the last two years that I've either been singled out for extra checking at the airport or had my luggage opened...

I also add a "proof of fare" notice from the SFMTA.
Ive been debating printing out a TSA claim for damaged luggage and putting it in too and attaching a post -it. "Do it yourself and save me the trouble".
Ah stopping at Metro. What a neat store.
Nom Maynards.

Seriously, that sucks! I hope you have some of those new locks that the TSA can open without busting.

I've had my entire car searched before. Apparently, Drew fits the profile of a terrorist. You know, Canadian (non-American), runs his own business (nobody cares if or when he gets back), no return ticket (because he's driving), staying in Chicago less than 24 hours (because he has clients to get home to)... He was only driving my car back because I'd twisted my ankle. Yep, friendly Canadian guy, must be a terrorist.
