Finally!

My grades for this past fall have finally been posted. As I expected, my marks fell a bit thanks to my butchering both finals, but I guess the instructor (particularly the C# instructor, since I didn't butcher the Scripting Languages final nearly as badly) was generous. Whether that was based on my emailing him the complete solution an hour after I got home with a note saying "just to prove I'm not a total spaz...", or because he knew that I knew what I was doing and had just made an early error that cost me over an hour, or possibly because the final wasn't weighted as heavily as I feared it would be, I'm not sure. Whatever the reason, I'm not complaining.

Course Course Title Final Grade
COMP 9342 INTERNET SCRIPTING LANGUAGES B+
COMP 9370 INTRO TO C# (C-SHARP) A

I'm not sure why it says that I attempted 6.3 and 6.0 GPA hours, but earned 0.0. Maybe because Continuing Education classes don't count toward a GPA?

Glad to see someone I know is getting good grades! :P

Thanks! *grin*

Though [livejournal.com profile] brendan_moody apparently got straight A's this semester, and I assume he's taking a full course load as a university student. So I'm nothing special. (It's funny, maybe it's just a maturity thing, but I found it much easier to concentrate on my course work than it was when I was 20. Or maybe it's just because I was only taking two classes, rather than six.)

And hey, I'm sure your current troubles will all work themselves out. I don't have any specific comments, which is why I didn't post anything in response to your recent post, but hang in there.

There's really no need to comment, I've just been venting, but your sympathy is appreciated nevertheless.

Went I went back to do my Masters, I found it alot easier to focus on school work and such then I did as an undergrad. This was as a full time student. I really tried to act as if it was a full time job and I made sure I put in a full day every week day on school stuff. That left my weekends free to do convention related stuff.

Are you auditing the class or are they actually for credit? Its probably different than here but back at Mason, "auditing" meant you took the class, did the work, got the grade, paid the tuition... but didn't get any course credit hours.

If you actually enrolled for credit, it would be different.

Just my two cents. Congrats on the good grades though :)

I wasn't given any options when I enrolled - I just signed up normally and paid the tuition. The whole point is to get a .NET Developer certificate, though.

I'll have to ask about this next time I'm over at the campus.

Congrats on the good grades though :)

Thank you!
