Party!

I got home about an hour ago from [livejournal.com profile] pann_da_bear's place, where he was hosting a Hallowe'en party. The turnout was small, but it was fun. I didn't go in costume, though I suppose one could argue that my wearing an Ottawa Senators jersey constitutes being in costume as an Ottawa Senators fan.

Games were played, embarrassing and funny items were given out, food and beverage were consumed, and much chat was had. Thanks again to [livejournal.com profile] rockgoddes for playing chauffeur so that I could attend.

Though I still don't know where or when I'm going to wear the candy G-string...

The cough is still nagging at me. I think it's time for more Neo-Citran, even though last night's knocked me out - I went to bed around 5:15, I think it was, and didn't wake up until nearly 3 this afternoon.

An Ottawa Senators jersey? Wouldn't that be considered a cloak of evil or something? :p

Something like that. The general idea was that I was dressed as something I wasn't, though I think it was a little too subtle since few of my friends around here are hockey fans.

(At least, that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it. The alternative was one of my three Trek uniforms that everybody has seen me wear every year anyway.)

Ahh, makes sense. Still... I hope you had a good, long shower after wearing that thing. ;)

Heh, in case you missed it, I heard a terrible joke recently. What to go as for Halloween.

Get a Ti Domi doll, attach it to your face, go as a Leaf Blower.

boo!

Ouch! Nasty!

(But I'd never do it with a Tie Domi doll - Matt Stajan (http://www.nhl.com/players/8470162.html) is much cuter. :) )

Have you tried taking "Cold-FX"? I have, and it works wonders for me, so far. Am I starting to sound like Don Cherry?

[identity profile] boywhocantsayno.livejournal.com 2005-10-25 06:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't believe I've ever heard of "Cold-FX". Even being a hockey fan, I tend to tune Don Cherry out whenever possible, so if he's doing the commercials, I haven't seen them.

I'm feeling better now, though there's a rattle in my chest every so often.
